Hi! I'm just wondering if these are high quality monte carlo chips? How I can be sure these are not fake ones from China alibaba etc? Is there any copyrights in the poker chips? And who is the manyfactor of these chips? Br, Teemu.

Poker Chip Lounge

Hi Teemu,

Not sure if this is good news or bad news but this is the reality.

All Monte Carlo chip designs are made in China.

There are no American producers of mass poker chips.

Except for limited custom orders like we do which are produced here in our California production facility.

The different qualities you see are when different factories steal the design from each other and produce a similar looking chip.

I’m not sure anyone knows who the original design belongs to or the copyrights.

Product FAQ's

The sample pack includes exactly 10 clay poker chips, one chip per denomination. The denominations covered are $1, $5, $10, $25, $50, $100, $500, $1,000, $5,000, and $10,000. This gives you a complete physical preview of the entire denomination range before committing to a full set.

Each chip weighs 14 grams, which matches the heft used in regulated casino environments. This weight makes shuffling and stacking physically satisfying and gives your home game a professional feel that lighter plastic chips simply cannot replicate.

These chips are made from a clay composite construction, which is the same material category used by casinos worldwide. The clay composite produces a matte, tactile surface that grips the felt instead of sliding around like cheaper injection-molded plastic alternatives.

Ordering chips without handling them first is one of the most common and costly mistakes home game hosts make. The sample pack lets you confirm the weight, color accuracy, finish, and denomination labeling in person before spending hundreds of dollars on a full set of 300 or 500 chips.

The sample pack covers $1, $5, $10, $25, $50, $100, $500, $1,000, $5,000, and $10,000 denominations. This range covers every common cash game and tournament blind structure, so you can evaluate your exact intended setup before purchasing.

Each chip features an embedded laser-etched foil inlay that adds a metallic shimmer visible under table lighting. This shimmer makes denomination identification faster during play, especially in dim conditions common to home poker setups.

Each chip is labeled with 'Monte Carlo Poker Club' text along with the denomination printed clearly on the face. This named-club identity gives your set a polished, intentional appearance rather than the generic look that comes with unbranded alternatives.

This sample pack is built for home game hosts who want to evaluate casino-grade clay chips across all denominations before investing in a full set. It is also ideal for anyone who has previously ordered chips without seeing them first and ended up disappointed by the quality.

Yes, having one chip of every denomination in hand allows you to map out your exact blind structure before buying in bulk. You can physically arrange the chips on your table to see how denominations look side by side and confirm the color coding works for your specific game format.

The clay composite construction creates a matte, grippy surface that feels fundamentally different from hollow plastic chips. The 14-gram weight settles into your palm in a way that feels deliberate, and every riffle and stack carries a satisfying physical feedback that plastic cannot produce.

Yes, the sample chips are the exact same chips you will receive in a full Monte Carlo set, with identical weight, material, finish, and labeling. The purpose of the sample is to give you a true preview so there are no surprises when your full order of 300 or 500 chips arrives.

It makes an excellent gift for any poker enthusiast who is planning to upgrade their home game setup. Even as a standalone product, handling casino-grade chips for the first time is a noticeable experience, and it opens the door for the recipient to confidently order a full set tailored to their game.
