The Meaning Behind Senjutsu

The name Senjutsu comes from Japanese and refers broadly to the art, strategy, and techniques of warfare or battle. That makes it a fitting name for a poker collection: poker is also a game of strategy, timing, discipline, deception, reading opponents, and knowing when to attack or retreat.

Like a skilled warrior, a strong poker player wins not just through force, but through patience, judgment, and calculated decisions.

Each chip weighs approximately 10 grams and is produced from ceramic poker chip material designed for full surface dye sublimation printing.

Unlike traditional injection molded chips with a small center label, the artwork is printed across the chip face and rolling edge, allowing the illustration, denomination, color and Japanese-inspired detailing to become part of the chip itself.

The artwork was also refined through actual physical test printing. Dark shadows, charcoal details and overly dense linework were deliberately opened and adjusted so important artwork remains readable when reduced to poker chip size rather than simply looking good on a large computer screen.

The production standard specifically emphasizes shadow recovery, clean midtones, readable small format detail, vibrant gold elements and accurate chip colors.
