"I ordered a Custom Printed Mahogany Wood Poker Chip Set with 300 (14 Gram) Clay Ace King & Suits Poker Chips for my son’s 21st birthday.
Almost everything about the entire process from artwork creation, proof reviews and redos to timely production and product receipt was smooth and professional.
I had a little bit of difficulty on the website with the ordering process but that was probably as much on me as it was on the website’s layout. I created and submitted artwork for my son’s monogram to be printed on both the chips and the case. I received proofs for approval very quickly and the “Notes” section even included a warning that some of the details within the artwork were so fine that they may not show clearly on the chips. I was very appreciative of the heads-up and redid the artwork to avoid that issue. I received the updated proofs quickly and paid in full online with cc upon “proof approval”. Please Be Aware that they REALLY want you to “approve” the proofs (and they tell you that up front). I made the mistake of reviewing the 2nd round of proofs and simply assumed that if I paid in full they knew the artwork was approved. I lost a week of production time until I realized that I still needed to tell them the artwork was, in fact, approved.
Once approved I received my order in a little over a week and was VERY happy with the finished product! The case is beautiful, the chips very solid with a great “feel” to them.
I do have one complaint in dealing with Poker Chip Lounge, it’s not a huge issue, but it was annoying - you cannot talk with a live person on the phone if you have questions. You can call their offices but you will inevitably wind up in their voicemail system leaving a message that does not get returned. They really communicate only through email - which they do pretty well.
Other than the inability to speak with a person, I was pleased with the interactions the PCL and was very happy with the final product!"
